I could, but I'm selling it soon. That's why I'm so discouraged.
In the future I'm gonna buy a work shop.

(FYI, I have a 3 car garage. It's full with 2 large SUV's, (Toyota Sequoia and Chevy Suburban), and one convertible, (Mazda Miata)
Do you guys know were I can find touch up paint?
Thank's for replying.

The clear coat is gone, really not much you can do to preserve now.
Sorry!

I've buffed the chrome iron oxide batman out of it!!!
(I have to heavy duty paint restoration products and they didn't do a thing.
Still, if I painted it with touch up, would it still look as bad as it does right now?

Clearcoat failure is right.. Only thing that will make it better is to re-clear it. Get a can of clearcoat from Pepboys and do it. It's no long term solution and I'd usually advice against it, but if it's pissing you off enough to make a thread about it I'd go for it.

It would look really dull since the touch up will have no clear coat. And you can't just clear over that without prepping it and the only way to prep that is sanding off all the clear and priming it sorry

Would it look better than it looks right now?

The clear coat is indeed gone. I would lightly sand it down, and then respray with some store bought clear in a can, just to hide it a little better. That should be sufficient enough to sell. JMO

Nope. It will look like your trying to hide peeling clearcoat.
