distributor install 2JZ
Recently purchased a replacement motor (2JZ) for my 1992 SC300. Only problem was that it came without a distributor. I have read a couple of threads about properly installing a distributor, but they mainly assume that one has marked the distributor/rotor orientation prior to replacement. I do not have that luxury!!! I have purchased a distributor and have unsuccessfully (apparently) installed the new dizzy. I have achieved TDC and aligned the center of the rotor with #1 plug wire on the cap. Am I missing something? Any help is greatly appreciated.....
