i know, but i just dont know what thats all. like brands where are the best part is what stores for sc? stuff like that is what i am asking for

Sorry but stiCk3 is right. At this point just do a bunch of research. you can't just expect to be feed everything by a spoon. There's a cool thread that's a sticky on this website that shows a whole bunch of different exhaust. Yes you can turbo an auto but if you have to ask for so much as exhaust help, sadly I think you'd look through different options. Tint, suntek is a good brand if you find the right installer. Don't go cheap Mexican on tint cause suntek is good tint and can easily be ruined. Brakes, theres also useful information on this through the search button. I think its gs series Lexus' that you can bolt right up to your sc? They're bigger. Not sure though. Have fun and congrats on your sc. I wish i could have mine already. :/

Here's the link for the exhaust. It's all catback exhaust tho.

intellexual

you seriously need to search, there are a bajillion write-ups and how-tos here on this forum to turn someone into a Lexus engineer. This is ultimately your car and you should know at least the basics and not get easily swayed by someone suggesting you to do "2JZ twin turbo and mad tyte camber specced lippage Work wheels". Do you own research and we will be glad to help you every step of the way.

happy modding.

What's your budget and is it an SC300 or 400?

LameSC300 07-03-12 03:21 AM

Just enter it in a demolition derby and call it a day

well since all they wanna do is tell you to search...

first make sure its in good running order. fix all the issues with it, check timing belt, stuff like that.

-------

next i'd decide on upgrades. if you are an appearance guy. i'd start with a nice set of wheels. those 97 plus SC's look good already. usually a good lowering spring drop and a set of wheels brings out the cars look nicely!

here is where i will tell you to search. look at the Sc300/Sc400 wheel fitment thread. its about a billion pages long. but you will find many cars in it with different wheel and tire combo's good luck with that.

if you can afford coilovers. that would be even better. the labor involved is actually less than swapping lowering springs onto struts that probably were never changed before and are prolly blown out or going to die soon.

now if you are a power junkie like me. then you'll wanna look at increasing the power. first you gotta figure out... do i just wanna get bolt ons or go boost.

the intake and exhaust route will net u small gains. you wont feel it in the seat of your pants. especially behind an automatic transmission.

if you want to keep it on the cheap. a cold air intake kit from a vendor will work. as well as some headers. and if u look on ebay or some seller on Amazon. u can find some axle back mufflers for around 400 or less. they look good will change the sound a bit.

there is a thread on that by the way somewhere.

if u go boost. well that is just a mixed bag of stuff i wouldn't advice unless you had experience. some people like to turbocharge the stock motor and some people go for an all out swap with a 2jzgte or what the car came with in Japan in the basemodel the 1jzgte.

so have fun and figure out what you want to do. you can go far as long as you have deep pockets.

3 or 400???????

raine 07-03-12 02:10 PM

Clean it inside and out first. That's what I'd do.

^yup! A good detail will help you see what your car's potential will be like:thumbup:
