Default Passengers Side Window

I got a 1992 Lexus SC300 very beautiful car for 20 years of age , One thing i cant figure out is .. the passenger side window . If you want to open it you have to do it from the driver side , you cant open it from the passenger side but to close it you can either close it from the driver side or the passenger side , What can it possibly be to where it wont allow the passenger to open the window ? fuse?wire? Has anyone had this problem before ?

I believe you would have to swap out the whole control pad. You could put up a wanted to buy ad once you had 30 posts or look on ebay for a used one.

Hey guys, check in the classified forms. I vaguely remember there was someone selling a complete window kit. Or you guys could pm Aliga-excellent seller, great reputation here on CL. He's probably got several or could find what you're looking for.

You guys CANNOT just go firing the parts gun off on something like this. You will go broke.

There are several components of the power window system.

-Window lock ECU
-Fuses
-Relays
-Wiring harness in the door might be pinched
-Master switch (Driver side)

Best bet is to get a copy of the FSM and a multi meter and get crackin!
