Here's a tip if your 3rd brake light doesn't work...

If your third brake light does not work and you've gone through all the usual steps of:
1. Making sure that the wire isn't damaged at the point where it feeds out of the trunk arm into the fuel tank area.
2. Making sure that supply voltage is actually coming out of the harness to the light.

If you've gone through these steps and are gettting NO voltage from the harness once the brakes are depressed, then you may want to try lifting the rear seat and making sure that the orange plug located under the rear seat on the driver's side is actually plugged in. The 3rd brake light goes through that orange plug/harness.

Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the tip. Not a top priority, but when it is, I will try that.

I'll have to check out that plug. My third brake light quit working a while back.

Thanks again for the tip. I finally got around to doing this and it was as easy as advertised. Keep up the good work.

The rear seat of the SC hangs on some clips. By pushing up on the back of the rear seat it will disengage the clips and the upper half of the seat can be removed.

You have to do that in order to access the fuel pump, too.....

Many pictures and threads to find.....
