Post New summer daiy driver (pictures)

Just wanted to post up some pictures since I finally got a working camera. So lets start off with some pictures.

Need the front plate for NY

And the x-runner just because it was in the driveway.

The Good:
Newer paint
Little to no rust (big deal here in NY)
All the electronics work ( heated seats, antenna, climate control, telescoping wheel,...)
Key less works

The Bad:
Broken door handle
very minor front bumper damage
leather is worn
minor cracks on door panels

So far whats been done,

Passenger door fixed ( didn't open from outside)
New spark plugs
New valve cover gaskets
New clutch fan (was squeaking alot, once removed you could feel how hard it was to turn)
New battery
Headlights and "cornering lights" cleaned up
New brake and pads all around

What needs to be done,
Touch up the bumper ( have all the supplies)
other minor things

Let me know what you guys think, I have parts on the way for the handle and leds for the cluster. Its hopefully getting some 18's from a 350z from my dads friend to get rid of the 16s. Other then that all i really would like to do is lower it and find a decent exhaust. Haven't been able to post in the classifieds but I will soon to get some new struts atleast.

Did you use a filler to fill the crack on that small part of the bumper?

This car needs quite some cosmetic work, are you sure you wanna go through with that? If this is just a beater then that makes sense.

This should explain my point

So far its just epoxy on the bumper, but I have glaze coat for it. Then sand and paint.

Other then the bumper it doesn't really need much, the rest of the stuff is pretty minor? And for what I paid for it its really not bad since it runs great now.

My SC is in worse shape then 187's.
Wish I had the last owner to tell me all about the cosmetic damages...

But now that I am reading this, I'm going to check my SC's history now.

Welcome and congrats! Looks like a 92 with original 5-speed. Looks JUST like mine when I picked it up last year.

What part of NY? Judging by the legitimate trees and backyard space I'm going with upstate

Thank you. I barley consider myself upstate but Orange County, if you have even been north of me it turns into farms pretty quick.

Nice Xrunner. Getting rid of mine is one of my biggest regrets. URD can turn that truck into a monster. Gotta love the 6 speed also.
Good luck with the SC, having the manual trans is a huge plus.
