Hey guys i hope you can help me
Ask you know i just joined the Community two Days ago but been lurking for a Long Minute

I recently aquired my Brothers Old Lexus from him, But it has some problems like every Old car does.

1. when we got the 97 Front Bumper from a Junk Yard we had the smartest Idea but the Dumbest idea to Hook up the FOG Lights to the DRL ( Day Time Driving Light) Wire... Meaning we cut at the Wrapper and just wire tapped the Fog Lights to that Wire and called it a Day..... As Days do by we noticed " Hey our FOG lights are turned off." When we Arrived Home not Only the FOG lights are out but the Corner Lights as well ( The little Amber ones on the side of the Bumper) are off as well.... I dont know where to go from here... ive looked at the Fuses and nothing is blown so i dont know what to do i know i need to take the FOG light Wires off the other wire because i know it went from a 12 WATT to Say to a 6 Watt. Please help i really want FOG Lights on this Nice Bumper and i want to hook them up RIGHT...

[shakes head] when dealing with electronics, you need to also consider amperage, resistance, current and not only wattage or volts. You can use your turn signals as a switch but you need more power from your battery. That's why you need the relay.

I suggest you hit the books/internet and start learning about how electricity works, then practice on something else. Leave that poor SC alone or take it to a professional in the meantime.
