Where can I get these parts from would you suggest? I almost 100% guarntee that is the noise I am hearing, as the Transmission seems to have no problem with shifting, its just a random clunk now and then. Plus at speeds above 30 there is a wurring sound coming from under the shifter column. So yeh. RIght on the money, In 2 weeks I plan on having this car in the air and going from there.

Yo! You lucky! I just solved my "clunk" sound whenever I shift to reverse or drive! I done replaced every little bushings this car has! Motor mount, tranny mount, front upper control arm bushings, front lower control arm bushings, rear lower links bushings, steering rack bushings(all polyurethanes) etc... And still, the clunk was there... And when I lowered my SC a couple of weeks ago, it became louder! So clearly it's under stress due to being low... Luckily, I busted my rear wheel bearing after being changed in Nov, another story, but I had time to finally change my rear upper control arm bushings that I left when I did all others because I ran out of time... Prior to doing it, I researched on how to do it, and I found out that the rear upper control arm bushings for '95-'96 years, were all POS!!! When the bushings are worn out, the arm rub on the crossmember whenever it experiences stress... So I changed it last Friday, and voila!!! The clunking is completely gone!!! It's not a bad idea to change the engine and tranny mounts considering the age of the car, but based on my experience it was the only thing that removed the clunking sound completely!!!

That's the same info everyone told me when I was researching where the sound is coming from, but I never did mess with the driveshaft...

I have experience with bad control arm bushings, the bushings should only rub/ contact when the car hits a bump or becomes under some sort of flex. There is no reason for my car to make a whirring sound that increases with speed if it is the control arm bushings. So I ruled what you said out. But thanks though man.

I think I need transmission mounts, and driveshaft center bearings thingy ma bobber.
Ill find out this week hopefully when I get the beast in the air.
