Ok I know this post is a bit old and im bringing it back up but hey.. happens.. has any one installed one of these kits trying to figure exactly how much wider it is.. I have the old rear quarter pannel rust im looking to do away with but instead of cutting the hole quarter and putting a new one in, im thinking I can cut away all the rust weld up the wheel wells and then wide body it but I don't want to go to wide due to the cost of wheels for big oll wide bodys. Any thoughts?

Your telling me if Armani sells you a black and white dress shirt that has the same design as the Banana Republic black and white dress shirt that one is ripping another off? At the end of the day pricing does make a difference for us less fortunate individuals. Why is it fair to charge so much to a person who can't afford it? Everyone should be able to modify their vehicles, we just try to make it affordable.

^ +1.... For a show car I would buy a name brand kit.... but 80% of us have cars we.... well you know... "drive". I'm not gonna pay 3-5 racks for chips, scrapes and cracks from road ware. I am going to buy a knock off kit... with knock off interior and maybe even some knock off rims and lights. because I love making cars look nice... and I bet you "3-5k" that it will look just as if I spent 3-5k on the kit... it's all clean to me.

Hey yes I did,

It's definitely not a pnp type of kit. If I were to rate it by how it's fitment was right from the packaging I'd say it's a 5/10. BUT they have great service and discounts to CL members which made it better. I had to do some sanding/cutting/bondo. Cannot expect a kit this cheap to go on perfectly. it's like buying for a Gundam Model kit and expecting it to look like the anime. I've sold my car so I can't take anymore pics, I did this when I had little experience with body work, just do the prep work it will turn out great. I've done it twice, I consider this kit disposable. Although I didn't get the front bumper I bought the rear lip and sideskirts it did me well after scraping so many times I've created holes on it lol so I bought another set again.

I recommend it if you've got the skills, cost me I think under 5 bills for the set and I had it on for a good year or so before I replaced it again vs 3-5k I think I'm getting the bang for my buck since we're prone to scraping when low due to our chassis. If I were to have another SC again I'd still get it from them again and again. I don't plan on retracting from my recommendation, don't be scared to learn to do things on your own and get out of your comfort zone.

Give a man a plug and play kit he looks good for once. Teach a man how to finesse any kit, he looks good for a life time. Some respeck for the diy-ers.
