They are advertising this kit like its their own and also carefully wording their statments to make the average enthusiasts believe that this is out of the box ready. This is not the case at all, far from it. This kit will take extensive work to make it look correct and even then it won't hold up to a bump in the road. Also you are using pictures of a legitimate kit and claiming it as your product with out even crediting the true owner of the car.

The way E.d. is conducting itself is novice at best.

Requoting myself inlight of these last devolopments.

The pics basically show that the fit is great, with the exception of that fender tab I don't see any problems with the over fit/look of the kit. Thanks for your feedback though.

I am sorry I am not in charge of any of the pics on the website or the photoshop work. If you are upset about the pics, please PM me and I can give you the email of the person who would be in charge of this. Thank you.

I guess we have different ideas of what great fitment is. What i saw in those pics is that not a single mounting spot on the fenders comes even close to lining up and that the highbeam holes are absolutely terrible. But if thats what your company considers great i would hate to see poor fitment.

If its the same as the vertex kit, then whats the point?
Why not make a whole new design, that out-does the currently available options?

You have a point on on whats available and what is not avail and I agree with you on that. You have to try and understand that some people can't afford the "Baller" kit and are on a budget build as most of us are. It goes to the whole thing about rep wheels and I can totally understand where you are coming from. If everyone could afford the baller Vertex kit or other hard to find parts out there then we would not be in business.

I have brought it up to the attention of the higher ups and they have given the opportunity to you guys the customers to design something you like and that will work.

fitment issues happen and we are going to be addressing all the issues.

the bad part is that there will always be someone willing to buy the fake stuff all around the world. ive seen guys on here that will buy 3k+ worth of wheels and paste a KnOck off kit on it and cats be nuttin on the outcome. "OMG that's the best SC EVER on that OBVIOUSLY fake kit!"

i tend not to worry about how others build their cars; but i will always pursue the quality items from the original maker. R&D has been put in and the look is UNDISPUTED! make take me long as **** to finish but, it WILL be done right, it WILL last forever because I protect my investment, and (though i really dont care) others will appreciate the wrench time put into it.

Heres a sick body kit, and it flows the original shape of the car ...
Anyone know what it is?

Not true vertex kit fits better and has r&d but is still **** due to being made of frp. If a company would just make something made of polyfin or polypropylene I'd pay 3k for the kit easy injection molds are exspensive but we'll worth whatever it may cost to have it. Frp no matter what combo or who makes it is always going to be crap and near Impossible to fix correctly. I know in the auto body world if I see a car come in that's frp and has damage it's in the trash. So Ed you want to become the elite and make some monies well do that and I am sure you will have mass sales.

That is a Vertex target kit I believe the retails for about +$3500 not including shipping or wait time.

I TOTALLY AGREE I am bringing it up to the mold guys and want to make the kit better for all of you guys so you can help ED grow. Molds and money are as I have said to everyone, if they feel they want to make a kit for the SC and have a nice design.. upload it to our page and we'll bring it up and see if its a hit or miss.

This is specifically directed at the "if you can't afford the real thing, too bad" crew, but the irony here is that the entire Lexus brand is a brand designed to duplicate a more expensive product at a more affordable price. Am I complaining that my car is a rebadged Toyota with a quasi-pirated Mercedes name? I had an SL300 and an SL600. definitely better constructed cars, but WTF, look at the price even now. I don't ever want to rebuild 23 hydraulic motors at the "discount" rate of $2500 ever again.

MR2 owners don't seem to be all in a hissy fit that their cars are blatant rip-offs of Ferraris, and need modifications to go just as fast.

Cars started out being hand built bespoke items with every piece hand pounded from sheet metal or cast individually. Henry Ford knocked that s%$t off and made the Model-T, which wasn't even a backed-up outhouse compared to the rolling Victorian mansions that the rest of the lineup was at the time. Then companies like Toyota knocked those cars off and made products that were even worse. But you know what? Kasumi and Isamu didn't have to walk 6 miles to school in the snow anymore, and Americans could now purchase vehicles that would use half the gas, and rust twice as fast.

And what's all of this talk about $$$$$=quality in body conversions? That must be a recent development, because I remember when I wanted to get the AbFlug S900 conclusion model, I was told I had to ship my car to Japan for proper fitment of an effin' $25,000 kit! Every other high-end body conversion I have ever seen required that the car have the kit custom fitted. Seems like the more expensive it gets, the more money is going to have to be thrown after it, and not the other way around.

I'm glad somebody is at least trying to support this chassis. I've literally sold cars I actually liked and wanted to keep because both the OEM and the aftermarket jumped ship, if they were ever interested at all.
