I'm wondering if you can use uv sealant that are used for carbon fiber finish. It may work and protect the headlights as it would on a pieace of carbon fiber. Just an idea.

Aerospace 303 is generally regarded as one of the best UV protectants. In any case, I think all UV protectants have to be applied on a regular basis.

I did mine last year and then again this year, the wax was good for about 4-6 mos before they started to yellow again. Thought about a clear coat over them, I have asked around but havent seen an over the counter product here in the US yet. There is a product in the UK I am thinking about ordering if it can be shipped over.

WOW, yeah those headlights do look brand new. And MDSC is right, you should have those cleared by a bodyshot. You'll save in the long run. Thx for sharing.

I have to do my headlights like that about once every 3-4 months. I use polishing compound and a wool pad and high speed buffer. I onlu used the sand paper for the initial removal of the yellow film. They look good.

Just thought i would throw an idea out there since it hasn't been mentioned but has anybody considered lamin-x or some other clear vinyl as an alternate to clearcoat once cleaned?
