This is a great news! Congrats!
I just wanted to know why you didnt go with r154 istead? But anyway...
As for memory seats, who cares if you got 5spd with v8 and vvti and thats off the hanger.
We do want more detailed writeup on this because soon ill be going this route myself

Ok, guys..........I get the point on the pictures/video. I will do my best to get some this weekend. My wife is 40 weeks pregnant and it may take me a while. As far as dyno I won't be doing that for sure. I haven't even put my boosted SC300 on the dyno.
I used the W58 because I already had everything ready to go. Also, I have heard that it shifts more smoothly than a R154. Anyway, I don't plan on boosting the SC400 so the W58 should be fine.
I'll see if I can get my friend to write down what he did. Please be patient guys. I will do my best.
Thanks for all of the positive comments.

The reason that I didn't take pictures and video is because my friend lives and works in Houston, Texas while I live in San Antonio, Texas Also, he took his time doing it as it was not his only project. He works on many, many Supras and is very in demand. Thus, I didn't really know when he was working on my car anyway had I been able to document the progress. He is honest, talented and very meticulous. I never rushed him because I knew the final product would be done right. I really couldn't ask him to document it for me either. Again, I will try to get him to write down what he did.
