My 1997 SC400 has a separate remote, not attached to the key. Check out this link to Ebay

Wow good deal. When I asked back in 05 they said I needed to get new keys and reprogram my keyless entry because they couldn't just do 1 key. My total was $800.

My 97 has a remote and is not built into the key. I personally like it built into the keys because it saves space.
WOW $800 seems excessive.. my 93 sc300 has both toggle switch and 3 botton keyless on the key.. unfortunatly my front face popped off when dropped one day.. I called my Local Dealer here in Colorado an the said $325 for a new key with programing.. maybe that is just my cost because I work for Infiniti of Denver..i've never heard of any ECU replacement tho
