Default Annoying brakes

I recently installed the LS400 brakes a couple months ago but my front drivers side makes a rattling noise over bumps.

I noticed this doesn't occur when I press the brakes over and go over bumps so I assumed it was the brake pads that were loose. I got it checked out and the mechanic told me it was missing some sort of springs???

He told me I should look for some sort of spring kit.

Is there even such thing?? I been dealing with this for more than 4 months. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not too familiar with e LS400 brakes, but isnt there a spring clip that holds the pads in place?

Might want to look in replacing those, since they should be pretty cheap. or atleast bend the ones you have to put more pressure on the pads.

Your mechanic must be talking about "Anti-rattle Shims" and "Anti-rattle Springs".

Anti rattle shims sounds good. Is there a part number? Or for the springs?

You can buy anti rattle springs from Rockauto.com. If you buy Akebono pads they come with a material on the back of them that don't require the use of the anti rattle shims.

Is it possible that you are missing the shim kit on the drivers side, but not the passenger? I'd check that out.
