Mine isn't, and I refuse to spend the money it would take to make it pristine. I got the car for $800 and it'd cost $20k to make it perfect. I would simply start with a better example to begin with.
That said, it's a great "cheap" car and I'll get to enjoy everything the car has to offer just like those with rolling museum pieces. I won't turn heads while doing it but that doesn't excite me anyway. "Look at how much money he can throw into a 20 year old car" isn't a contest I want to win.

I don't know, you've put thoughts in my head. I also feel like I wouldn't be able to enjoy my seat heaters as much considering the new layer of material over the old. Think I'm just gonna bite the bullet, save up, and reupholster them the correct way.

This has been covered before, the best match to leatheseats.com in
quality is on ebay - leather-seats is the name of the vendor. Real leather, they usually have two listings, don't go for the buy it now for $499, find the other listing with the on going auction, start bidding and hope you can win it for less than 300. I won it for $280 2 yrs ago, full set including center console and armrests. Buy a whole bag of hog rings and hog ring pliers for $15 from a local upholst
ery shop and go at it. Take your time when you're doing the heated wiring you'll be happy with the result.

I sweat in leather seats. I want to switch to a material that breathes well. Ive got a microfiber suede couch and chair in my apartment and dont really have a problem with them. So I plan on switching to a racing seat and redoing the rear seat with the microfiber. Just need to learn to run a sewing machine or find a good upholstery shop to do the work. Wish some of u CL guys lived in my area

Oh yeah, must've forgotten to state that I am very meticulous in every single tiniest detail in everything I do. So, a color that don't match is a big no-no for me, not to mention if it's not real leather. Sorry, but it's just me. So if anybody asks, I would never ever ever ever ever recommend this one, I wouldn't even recommend leatherseats.com. It's just me.
