Hi all. Just bought an SC400 with 120k. All stock, except for what the previous owner did, which was to try to make the tan interior black.....using spray paint. :/
So now I have to fun task of trying to get the interior back to stock condition.
The PO knew that he pretty much ruined the car though, so I got a great deal on it. And as far as the rest of it goes, body is about 8/10 with a few minor exceptions, and it runs great
If it wasn't raining and dark right now i'd post some pics, but those will have to wait until tomorrow

Default My baby Letty

My 93 sc300 ge, she's a lil ratchet, but she's never done me wrong! Bout time I return the favor. Anyways my name is Bronson, island boy from way across the pacific calling Seattle home for now. Letty is just a ge and she's automatic but my goal is to have her become a 5 speed gte one day, riding low and slow on the daily. Only mod so far is to her suspension with Tein SS MkIV editions. My dream is to to build an s13 with a rb 25 but the more I drive the 2j the more my dream shifts to a 5 speed gte! These days I'm all about that sk8 life as I struggle to get my baby running smooth.

Hello! We just purchsed our Lexus SC400. It is an 1999 with only 94,000 miles on it. It is presently all stock and the only thing we plan to do at this time is to tint the windows. We landed on this forum while searching for information on replacing the trunk lid supports. Thanks Club Lexus.

Just got my first Automatic SC400! So excited to start modifying it. Gonna start with the Transmission. Anyone know where I can get the W58 for a good price?

Just bought my new to me car. A 1995 Sc300 with about 170k miles on it. Very Well Maintained 2 owner Cali car. Gave her a wash and had a little iPhone photo shoot. Plan on mainly dailying the car but def go on some spirited drives and possibly track once in a while. Definitely excited to be a part of the 2JZ club

Whats up ya'll, i'm Dre
I'm from Atlanta Ga

Got my 1st Sc300 pearl white with the ever so elusive spruce interior(thinking about changing to black)
Been in love with these cars since '96
In my opinion it was steal 84k on a rebuilt engine but of course needs interior work and a bit of exterior
She's a bit of work in progress but i hope to have it completed over the next few months
I read the rules(most of em) and snapped these 2 quick pics last night as you can kinda see i got my work cut out for me but i think its worth it
I'm going to be posting pics of the progress too

Default New to Club Lex

What's up guys?! I just recently bought a black 97 Sc300 and I found this forum to be the best forum for advise on my new project car so I thought I might as well join! A little about me, (don't know if anyone really cares) I'm 23 born and raised in good ol' Casper Wyoming... And I've always been a Toyota guy always will be!

Hey everyone, name is Evan from a small town in TN, been into the tuner scene for about the last 10years. Started mostly with Hondas and 240s but recently picked up a 93 sc300 and I have always loved these cars but this is my first, got it with an almost perfect exterior except for a little clear fade and of course typical interior problems, broken door handles, ragged door panels, broken vents, cracked leather seats. Been slowly fixing things as I can find them locally, having issues with the driver window at the moment, not sure if its switch or motor. but yea its autotragic as it seems most are, will probably be manual swapping it soon but first going to throw on some coils, wheels and an aerokit and daily it

Hey! I'm back!! It's been years since I sold my ls400 and regretted the sale. But now... I found my next basket case. A 93 sc300 manual. Boy oh boy do I have questions, but I will save those until I can diagnose the underlying issues, but other than a full interior swap, body work, engine noise, leaking ps, leaking w58, and removing all the jerry rigged mods the previous owner did, the car is fine........ Well here goes another adventure into what I believe is the most beautiful car I have ever owned.
I've been actively reading posts prior to purchase so I kind of have a grasp but there is a can o worms hiding somewhere between the 2jz and the w58!
Anyway good to be back and in a way cooler section of the forums, ;-)

Hello, my name is Clint, I'm a long time Supra owner and I just purchased KingPhilip's 95` blue flame. So far I am enjoying it, I am learning alot about SC's they are almost like Supra's and I even went so far to create a local AZ SC300/400 group on Facebook. Looking forward to enjoying this car as much as possible.
