just inquired a 92 sc300 to build into my new drift car ive been drifting nissans and wanted something different came across this car for a good price.
its got some problems but its got alot of potential.
hoping to learn alot along this journey and find a strong passion for toyota just as i have found one for nissan

I am new to the SC scene and I am in Virginia beach. I recently acquired a 93 sc300 with some problems. I believe I am having air/fuel issues. Car is bogging down at wot, recently started to backfire and generally runs like ****. Any help would be great...oh btw when I hooked up vacuum tester I got a zero reading. Please help

hello guys, my name is chueye and im from Minnesota. i've just received my dads 95 sc400 from him.at first I didn't want it but he kept insisting me to take it and after doing a bit of research on the sc's.i've found out I could convert it into a 5 speed.so pretty soon im gonna be starting on a big project on the sc and will be asking a lot of questions, and some dumb questions too.lol im a Honda guy so now im gonna try something new for once and hopefully I will be successful with this project.

Hello, my name is jenni. i just recently discovered this forum looking for help with my lexus. i have a 1996 dark green Lexus sc300. it was an sc400, but before i purchased the car they put a v6 in it. i love my car, and this site is extremely helpful. i have had quite a few problems with my car as of late. but, i am no longer taking it to shops. i am learning as i am going, slowly getting my car up to par. i have high hopes that this forum will be very helpful

in regards to a picture, i just got a new laptop, so i am still figuring out how to do that. haha. 21 years old and i don't know how to internet

I have a 1992 Sc400 love this car its a nice ride when it does drive. But the previous owner did one heck of a number on trying to repair the alternator plug. I have had NO vehicle for a week now & dealing with advanced auto parts & Toyota as well a local Lexus dealer I have gotten NO WHERE..... UGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey im new to club lexus i just bought a 95' sc 400 and am wondering if any one has a pic of the driver side front fender with out the fender on it mine got crunched and trying to move things back were they go any info or pics would be helpful thanx

I'm new to the forums and I have been reviewing the threads for over 6 months reading comments, DIY and what to look for in purchasing a SC. I finally purchased a pearl white 99 SC300 from a 92 old lady (gave it to her daughter to sell) in near mint condition. It has 103k miles, all service done by Lexus (all service done before requirements) and had the 90K service done at 78K. It was located out of state but I went to look at it and jumped on the deal quickly. Here are some pictures and some things I've done/looking to do.

Repairs Done
1. Hanging jugs..sorry I mean nets - Fixed (saw DIY on forum)
2. Passenger front/fog lights faded some - Fixed (DIY)
3. Clean interior/exterior more - Done

Services Needed
1. Oil Change
2. Radiator flush
3. Replace trunk hood arms - will get the StrongArms 4508

Upgrades Later
1. Coilovers - Maybe Megan EZ or others mentioned
2. Tires/Rims - 18" or 19" staggered 9 Front / 10 Rear with decent lip/offset
3. Rear Window Spoiler
4. Change Air Intake / Maybe other performance tweaks
5. LS400 brake upgrade
6. CarPC w/ 7" touchscreen - hopefully move radio to to middle console (I've done this before on my truck - 6 yrs now)
7. Anything else?

i think i got the steal of the century! this is my second lexus first was a rx 300 gave me many years of problem free enjoyment so it was time to find the car i wanted and boy did i a mint 1997 lexus sc 300 with 27,000 original miles! yes, only 27,000 so far only thing i did was tint, painted all emblems black,,really didnt like to gold.. new tires, and K&N filters and a new battery more pics to follow

I just got a 95 es300. i love it and I want to keep it on the road for a while so I found this forum to help me do just that
