sc300 problems..!!HELP!!
ok i wasnt going to post anythang yet but my car is getting on my last nerves..its problems after problems..
ok so i've been having problems with my car starting up..it'll crank but wont turn sumtimes but before yall torch me i've done a whole bunch of research and endless reading..
i've changed spark plugs, did a seafoam treatment, new battery, cleaned maf sensors and after all this..same problem, so i took it to the shop today before investing more money and the mechanic said it's misfiring so gotta change the dist cap, plug wires, n coil ignition....now right after i left the shop i went straight to autoadvance came back out and it wont shift..i called the mechanic back n he said could b bad solenoid or brake lights fuse are blown...ok now long story short
before i took it to the shop my initial problems were starting issues
now its the brake lights and shifter, but before that the light indicator was on, on the dashboard but the brake lights work and the shifter was shifting so now light indicators off but shifter is not shifting and brake lights wont come on... i'm in a deeper hole now, im stumped... help would b GREATLY APPRECIATED

hmm your starter may be crapping out. when you try to turn the engine on, do you hear a loud whizz sound? or does the engine turn over? if it doesn't turn sometimes it's most likely your starter is bad.
as for the not shifting.. maybe your trans fluid is low, the whole brake light fuse being blown making it unable to shift sounds real stupid and makes no sense to me.

Thanks...well the shifter is locked on park I would have to manually shift it from the key whole next to it...my brake lights doesn't come on and the indicator on tha dash isn't on neither
