SC400 won't go into gear

My car will turnover and idle in park but as soon as i try to put it into any other gear it cuts off it has been to the mechanics and they couldn't diagnose it. they think its electrical. they ruled out the transmission and neutral safety switch. If anyone has any idea what the problem is please let me know

Idle up valve related to A/C can cause a stall.
