Really!!!!
Kingphilip, my ex used to say that nature would wash her car when it needed it. I kept telling her to at least take it to a real car wash once in a while- hell, the oil change place down the road has a decent wash bay. She ignored me and then complained when she had to lower the selling price of her car. That GA sun will rip the paint right off a hood, roof, trunk, etc.
Vugy79, that truly sucks. I would wish you luck with her insurance company, because I've noticed lately that they hate dealing with older cars. I had to fight them on my parent's Honda- 10 years old, less than 70k and they wanted to total it- and give her $4300.
Just grab the bull by the horns and hold on for a ride. Hopefully all will go well, but remember that you're the victim in this case and they have to work with you. Maybe your guy can do a complete respray if you throw some extra $$$ in.

My uncle was so proud to tell me that ever since he got his Isuzu Trooper he haven't done an oil change, he just adds oil whenever the oil level goes down, and he's had his Trooper for 10 years now. And what's funny is he thinks that the oil actually evaporates that's why the level goes down, I didn't wanna argue with him but I wonder how much sludge it's engine has by now cause you can hear the engine knocking from a mile away.

aww yeah, not to make us sound mean, but does someone that naive even deserve the help? Maybe he really should learn the hard way, learn his lesson better. If he doesn't trust his own nephew, then i guess it is better for him to save himself the trouble and let his uncle end up talking to a mech telling him damn dude why you don't change your oil son?
