Thanks for looking at my thread and commenting. If you don't mind, I have a question for you about your exhaust setup prior to the headers and J brady y pipe (the thread with the magnaflow y pipe and very nice welds titled "1999 sc400 vvti custom exhaust" ). How much gain did you see by replacing the center resonator with a 2.5" into the 2.5" y pipe splitting to 2.25" all the way back? PM me if you'd rather do that I'd appreciate the info.

Very nice additions you've done to the car. I like the way it sits, however am a little dissapointed that you say its more bouncy. The bounciness is something I'm trying to get rid of on mine. Looks like the only way to get rid of that is to get some pricey coilovers.
Keep us posted on how you do your exhaust, I'm saving up money to do mine and researching a lot. More reviews of different setups would be greatly appriciated..!
Thanks man and to be honest the "bouncy-ness" over rough roads is not so bad. IMO it's very worth it for the performance and looks you get in return. If you're on a budget like me then a good spring/shock combo will suffice. I'm still trying to figure out what to do about the exhaust also. I'm thinking about just going all out and going headers back. We shall see. I'll keep everyone posted incase there's other fellow vvti 400's listening.
