Default My 95 SC Rescued/Build Thread

I was going thru my old stuff and realized I never documented my build/rescue of my 95 SC. So here goes:

Here she is stock, peeling paint on the front and rear bumpers, chipped B pillars, 4-5 shades of white, she was a hot mess!!! Oh, and don't worry, wheels will be replaced (they came with the car so not my choice):

Ordered the Origin body kit:

Body work by my buddy Steve, prepped to take out all the scratches and various dings, and repainted DWP with Dupont paint:

Finished product, with the addition of a functional hood scoop for a future engine swap, and ghost pearl flames, and 20" Anteras from the custom wide-body SC430 done by AAP:

And finally, tucked away in the garage with the other toys:

That's it for now, need to find the interior pics of the 2-tone suede/leather interior. Next will be the exhaust, suspension, engine swap hopefully, GTE or LS7. (Again thanks to CarbonGS for helping me with this tricky computer stuff, heheh)

So you'll notice in some of the pics, you can't see the flames, and some you can, and the flames actually flip from blue to green to yellow. I actually wanted pearl ghost blue flames to be different, and I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted to be different.

Man i love DWP. Is it just me or do the skirts look weird with the front part being larger than the back? Idk. Did you spray the color outside?

Yeah, I freaked out at first too, thinking they were installed backwards or the wrong part was sent, but I have seen other SC's like that too with the Origin kit. I bought the kit from Carson, so I know I didn't get a knock off. The initial prep work was done outside, but then the final prep work and actual painting was done at the Dupont training facility (Steve's dad is an instructor there so he got the hookup).

I like that color. Just not a fan of the scoop or flames. Good work though.

Yeah, that's right. I actually did the SC before I bought Dave's GS and posted the final bodywork stuff, but never posted the build part of it, thus this new thread. The rest of the build was put on hold when I had the opportunity to buy Dave's car. When I start back on the SC, I will add to this thread now.

Glad I could be of help sir. This car has come a long ways. We have yet to take pics of the totally redone interior. Going to take care of the tunes in the trunk and work on the motor a little too
