The 1uz is a crappy motor for making power on as a stock b18 will make about the same power as a 4.0 v8 1uzfe so I am sure it will wake up on spray but the internals are glass much like a Honda.

I dunno about glass....

I've ran 15 psi on my 1uz in my MKIII. I've run it super lean and hasn't done anything...

I am not saying it won't handle it for a while but when push comes to shove the internals will exit the block if trying for bigger power numbers, I wish it were a more stout engine because then I would stick it out in my own sc400 but when compaired to a jz inline 6 it just can't make the power per dollar and be reliable all in the same breath.

my friend ran a 100shot Zex kit on his SC400 and it was conservative.

I plan to install a wideband and an S-AFCII. I have a buddy who tunes a lot of cars, big HP turbo cars, so I'm gonna get him to hook me up and get the A/F ratios nice and safe. Plus, running a wet kit also helps since it sprays the additional fuel to support the nitrous.

I've seen people run 150 shots on stock 5.0 Mustangs all day long, you telling me that that old pushrod motor is built stronger than the 1UZ that Tpyota dumped millions of dollars into when building it??

if ur engine is well kept... id say go for a 100 shot but start with a 75... more fuel afc or something to control mixture, use a wet kit and get a wideband (a good one). i ran a 125 on my g35 when it had like 30k miles, with a walboro pump, intake headers, exhaust and plenum spacer and the engine blew after like 7-8 months of using it almost every day... lol... nitrous is a dangerous toy.

question, our engines, are they at a 45 degree or 90 degree angle (the V)

i know the g is 45 which is garbage for FI. (from my personal experience)

Just make sure your fuel pump, lines and injectors can support the added fuel that your tune+nos shot will require. The only thing I would say you are missing from your list is an rpm switch and maybe a trans cooler.

FYI, there's a feature on your safc that can be used as an RPM switch as well, but you will have to wire up relays.
