WTF!! any1 ever had this problem?
Turn the key to start it,it starts no problem,but when you let go of the key it shuts off! if I hold the key it keeps running,but while holding the key at the sametime,then put the car in Drive it shuts off! I've changed the Ignition,the ingnition switch,a new key,I just dont know the hell is wrong!
hmm make a vid and post it. same thing happend with my es.
first make sure there is no vacuum leak
also what did you do to the car last before the problems arose
using the rite gas
clean gas
clean filter
check all the easy cheap things fuses ect

take out the starter relay. put a wire between 2 and 5 pins of the fusebox where the relay would sit. crank it again. see what happens.
make sure the key is in the ON position.
if the car doesnt stay on. perhaps the ignition cylinder is faulty.

I'm not an experienced mechanic, I just do some of the more fun and simple do it yourself jobs. Sounds to me like you've got a bad ignition switch. Does the car lurch forward right after you shift into drive and right before shutting off? The converter clutch inside the torque converter might be engaging when it's not supposed to. Personally, I would call an experienced Lexus mobile mechanic.

Then look in to your ignition harness behind your key. You will find 2 wires (brown) (brown with white stripe) cut them and connect them together from harness side.Then start your car
Hope this helps.
