there's nothing "special" about a 93 key, aside from the fancy Lexus logo; any place that can cut keys will replecement Toyota blanks. I had a couple cut for about $5 each, iirc.
Now, if you have to get the car unlocked, they charge [a lot] extra for that...

I don't get how you guys lock your keys in the trunk. I've read like 3 or 4 threads about this in the last 2 months..

My son "borrowed" my 93 a few years ago and lost my key FOB. He was forced (among other things) to replace the key. A standard, non-Lexus key is $35 at my local dealer while a Lexus key is twice that.

I would love to know where you can get a Lexus key cut for $5.

A lexus dealership will cut a customer provided key for $20 and if you provide your VIN and proof of ownership. Just buy a key on ebay for $5.

As far as getting a lexus key cut for $5 lexdud, these keys are laser cut so the reason why the price is higher is because all the companies that have that machinery have invested some dough into buying it and are looking to make that money back haha.

Lol these keys are not laser cut as there is no laser in the key cuter, I have to LOL everytime I hear this and it is a side cut key as opposed to a top cut key and yea E-bay key for like 7.00 and 20.00 for Lexus to copy cut the key and no proof of ownership is needed as long as you have the key for them to copy cut however if they cut a key from the vin then proof of ownership is required.

Get an ilco key from e-bay as some of the cheapo ones can't be cut by lexus as they are made from inferior metal.
