Clutch master cylinder & hard line

Hey guys,

New here, I'm from Australia and i'm just completing the finishing touches on my 5 speed conversion, the one thing left to do is fill the clutch lines with some fluid.

problem is; I've filled the master cylinder and when pushing the clutch pedal, nothing happens, the fluid level doesn't change or even fluctuate. When the hard line is installed into the clutch master cylinder the thread tightens right up and the hardline still seems to loose, as if the is still a gap in between. I've triple checked that i haven't threaded it when installing it.

My question is, is there some sort of rubber o-ring type seal that has to go between the line and the master cylinder, or do i need to get my hardline fixed?

It's a W58 5 speed g/box and everything has come from a working jza80 supra, so i assume the clutch and cylinder was working before...

matt.
