new exhaust, and it seems to be getting quieter?
idk if its just me but its deffinitly bugging me now. got my exhaust done last monday. its a completly mandrel bent straight pipe exhaust from the cat-back. 2.5 in. y-pipe split into 2.25 in exits. now wen it was installed it was extreamly loud and very throaty. I loved it. and now over a week, ive noticed that its no were near the same, its sounds way to quiet. idk wat it could be. at first I thought I was just geting used to it. but after testing it a litlle I really saw that thete has been a dramatic sound lose. idk wat to do I miss it .
maby something happend to it? idk im not very best when it comes to exhausts
wat do you guys think it could be?

Relax... the exhaust's tone will get a bit quieter and a bit more focused as it starts to break in. It's completely natural.
Expect it to quiet out a bit more over the next few days.

In my experience, when you install a new exhaust system, the tone will fluctuate a lot throughout the first month you have it installed.
I used to own an RX-8, threw on an exhaust system, and it was REALLY loud right after the install. During the first week, it started to mellow out and lose a lot of it's richness, but after that week... the exhaust started to sound a lot better. The tone started to sound much more focused, the rasp disappeared, and the volume found a happy medium.
Hopefully there's nothing wrong with your exhaust or anything, which I doubt... just give it some more time. I think you'll be fine.

May be you are getting used to the loudness of the exaust.. and now it does not seem to much.
when I had my supra MK3 , I did a 3 inch exaust with a huge muffler.. and it did sound louder at first. Later on it got quiter at idle, but loder at WOT.
