Default 95-96 Clear Bottom Lights *PIX*

Hey Guys,

After seeing the pictures, I had to do it myself! Took me about 2-3 hours for everything. Cleaned them up real good and I'm very impressed!

I just wonder how it'll look at night. I had to buy 2 new amber signal lights and 4 new red brake lights.

I'll take some night shots to see how they turn out later...

Clean job, you just need to change the bulb coloring. They sell some silver bulbs from Philips. When you signal it's amber.

Yeah, I just had to get some bulbs in there for now. I gotta find some nice bulbs to fit back there. I've seen the ones you're talking about but they run an arm & a leg. They have some silver ones that flash red also.

Now I just need to find a place around my area with them.

Well you can put it in the oven at 175-200 degrees. I couldn't fit my taillight in there so I used a heat gun. Started at one end and pryed it open.

ok, screw the oven method (it BARELY fit in my oven as seen below), im buying a heat gun! They have them at home depot, at my local one they have 2 kinds, one is 25$ and the other is 56$ the only difference i've found between the two is the amount of heat and the more expensive one has a variable control. since I seem to be messing around w/ headlights and tail lights i might as well make an investment

is there any way to clear out the red lining surrounding the lights that are behind the cleared portion of the bottom of the tail lights so it looks cleared all along instead of kinda gappy? otherwise, they look great! good job dude.

ACleanSC4,

Looks real neat!!

How much can you get 95/96 rear lights for? Their my favourite, and I really want to replace my rear lights and update them to those!

There are 2 pieces, an orange lense and a red lense.

These lights are I believe listed at the dealer for $196.18 each. Part #81550-24070 for the Right Side
Part #81560-24070 for the Left Side

I can get these for $160 each.

I can sell mine if anyone wants them and I can buy a new set and clear those too! hmm...Anyone want me to start clearing them for you?
