A set of GS400 17" wheels can be had for relatively cheap nowadays. I'd go with those.

You can find 17" IS300 rims cheap as well but bang for your buck the 18" 2IS rims are the best.

+ Lexus brand
+ 18s look nicer
+ cheap < 1000
+ clears LS400 bbk
+ 225/255 size nice balance of straight line and cornering performance.
+ front 225 upgradable to 245 for increased cornering performance and better stopping.

Its a awesome looking car. Even for the mileage. Good luck finding your perfect wheel setup. Just be patience.

As far as wider wheels go, You might be able to find a cheap set of OEM IS350 wheels, XXR's, TSW's, or Rotas cheaply on the Club Lexus wheel and classifieds forum. Another good set of wheels to look at would be a set of MB Battles from MB Motoring. Here is a link to their site so you check out their selection: http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com/
Yeah i've been making it a habit to check our classifieds, along with craigslist/ebay. MB is new to me so i'll take a look, thanks.

Yeah he's a beast, if only he posted pics of his SC. Way cleaner than mine

Find a set of Lexus rims like the IS250 or 350 ones. Putting Nissan parts on a Lexus would be tacky.
Well i'm pretty sure they're an inch bigger in diameter. Why else would I have to change the backing plates? Unless the rotors i had before were some kind of aftermarket. They looked pretty OEM though. Also it makes sense that they're bigger, for more stopping power on the V8.

Yeah and i'm sure i can find a set for sale on our classifieds or locally because they are pretty common here, thanks for the idea.

Yeah i've found out the hard way its good to be patient with wheels(I bought ADR GT-Sport 19'' wheels for $250, then decided i wanted wider. Sold them for 350 a week later LOL. But I'm just going to find a wheel/tire setup at a fair price in time.

I'm running 2004 Nissan 18" 350z Track (Nismo) wheels on mine. These are forged lightweight rims made by Rays Engineering. I just shaved the Nissan logo off the center caps and am running the LS400 BBK. Great looking wheel on the SC. But from strictly a money standpoint....the 17" IS300 wheel looks damn nice on a SC and if you can track down a set on the cheap you can't go wrong.

Sorry for the late update. I recently got a job as a porter at Nissan Finally found a set of Supra TT wheels even with Goodyear Eagle F1's on the rears(95% tread!) and some Kumhos on the front that need replacing. Also included: IS300 wheel i put in this winter. Let me know what you guys think. BTW i'm at 193k miles now

And the new steering wheel

I will definitely update this summer. Still on a budget even with two jobs. Also anyone know where to get control arms? Either SC ones or Supra TT ones. I want to play it safe and replace these before i lower the car on some Stance GR coil overs.
Thanks for looking guys

How much did you end up paying for the TT wheels?

$630 shipped from Madison, Wisconsin to St. Louis, Missouri. The rear tires were worth 800 by themselves so i figured it was a good deal. I used SearchTempest to find them
