Tinted windows, mirrors won't dim.
 

I'm sure I'm not the only one here with tinted windows who has experienced this problem, but I recently got my windows tinted 20% and now they are too dark for the auto dimming mirror to sense enough light to make it dim. Even with the dark windows, lights in the rear view mirror still bother me at night, especially when its a vehicle that sits up higher than the SC. My mirror will not dim unless the car is right on my back bumper. Does this bother anyone else besides me? Has anyone figured out a way around this or am I just being pickey?

I have 5% tint and my dim feature still works like normal.

On mine the little green light comes on some days and some days doesn't.

mine still works, but im at 35%.

on a side note, does anyone else have dimming side mirrors? i just noticed it the other day.

Wow Luxor, I can't believe yours still dim like normal with 5% tint! Mine worked perfectly before the windows were tinted but at 20% tint they very rarely dim.

Mine has side dimming mirrors (but they only dim when the rear view mirror dims so of course my side mirrors don't dim anymore either)
