Default where can i get this steering wheel?

this steering wheel looks the best I've ever seen. does anyone where I can get this steering wheel? and for how much?

also, what options do we, SC owners, have as far as the steering wheel goes? can we do GS or RX direct-swap? the pre-99 steering wheels look very outdated.

anyhow, this TRD wheel rocks!

You can do a three spoke Lexus wheel swap, plug and play according to Manaray, but that TRD wheel doesn't look like it has an airbag, or even a horn? You could probably order it from any TRD catalog if it's still current.

yes that steering wheel does hava an airbag (dunno about a horn though). And that is a pic of jeff's installed on his turbo sc300. Not sure where you could pick one up, but i am sure they are still current. I am sure jeff, sc300turbo, will log on sometime and give you the full scoop on the wheel.

The TRD SRS wheel has one of the smallest 'bags around, it's a beautiful piece, SC300TURBO got his from autonet, like you said i'm sure he'll log on to answer your questions.

Have u guys ever thought of putting in a MOMO steering wheel?

I drove an MR2 with a MOMO steering wheel, and it felt like I was racing in an arcade, FUN!

I read that if you install this steering wheel it wont have cruise control. I think most of us dont use it but just something to consider.

since this steering wheel contains an airbag, would the cost of this unit be around $1K?

Actually, the 3-spoke wheel is not quite plug and play. It will ATTACH to the SC no problem, but the cruise control needs to be modified to work correctly and the airbag is still up in the air. The connectors are different from the 4-spoke to the 3-spoke and I don't know for sure if you can just change the connector. I have been looking for more data on the airbag system but it seems like Lexus doesn't want to give out any info...

As for the TRD wheel, it should fit right on, it does have an airbag but again, I dont' know if the connector is correct. Most likely, it's not.

I am going to take a look at the TRD wheel soon so I'll let you guys know...
