Default WHAT did u do for your power steering 1jzgte swap

my 1jzgte power steering line fitment is way different from the one in my engine bay off the 2jzge 92' sc300??

get supra power steering lines, thats my gues. is it vvti?

I just bought some heater hose from my local autopart store. Fits good no leakage.

heater hose isn't made to withstand oil going thru it. replace it with braided hose from Napa or something that is made to withstand oil/power steering going thru it.

that hose will get rubbery soft and eventually break.

i dont even have that powersteering catch pan... i think i sold it with my 2jz..
i have my 1jzgte and a cut powersteering line coming off the pump and a long hose from my sc that cam off the old pump ..i guess ill take some pics because what u said doesnt help me

The GE reservior isnt going to work cause its mounted on the PS pump and IIRC hits either the TB or the IC piping going to the TB.

Your gonna need a TT or SC400 power steering reservior tank for your GTE swap.

or just make your own
i used a universal overflow bottle from autoparts store works fine and you can mount if above your intercooler to hide it like i did

the actual line coming off the 1jzgte has a metal fitment to the pump and the the metal line goes out and its cut. i need to take a pic bc nothing is helping me solve this prob lmao but really waitn to drive this thing
