so i got a 95 sc for a project and so far i changed the spark plugs the oil and oil fliter did the coolent and changed the dis cap and the car fires up but dosent idel it dips real low and if i get off the gas it dies.( is it the maf sensor) when its plug in it dosent run as good as when its off. ?what eles would i look for what eles would it be . i need help!!and its a stock ge

 

Yes, probably the MAF. also, they all tend to run crappy for a day or so after the battery is unplugged.

 

Mines did exactly that when I didn't plug the maf in all the way

same thing as well. My car is in the shop right now getting looked at. I'll let you know what they diagnose and if it fixes the issue. I just sit at stop lights with one foot on the brake and the other on the gas trying to keep 1k rpms lol. GHETTO hahaha

 

so i got a new maf and it wasnt it i got the car to idel but wont let me give it gas with out diying what eles might it, when the maf is unplugged it runs better i dont know whats going onnn lol helpp

 

Keep the maf, replace the car.

 

so i put some gas in and drove the car around the block diddnt go to fast.. if i wanted to increase speed i would slowly work in it a coolent line came off so i put it back and will try again tomm any one what it might be i found out today its a sawp engine its 2jzge insted of the 1 jz that it comes with would that have any thing to do with it???

 

Name calling aside, no 95 Sc (nor any Sc for that matter) ever came with a 1jz... Soarer yes, SC no.

 

Hmm maybe somethin related to the fuel since it dies when u gas it?

thks yal i will take a look tomm and see what i can do how would i check the ecu and see if it works??and when i put the key in the car i can hear the fuel pump kick on so im not sure?
