can the controller be bought if you don't have one? how to program it?
I found some on ebay but 95+ for 55$ they seem to work for LS aswell.

^ You need to make sure the FCC-ID is the same for your car.
To find out what your car's FCC-ID is you need to remove the passenger-side back seat wall panel, and you'll see the alarm module there with the FCC-ID on it. You then need to find a remote/fob with that same ID number. You then program it to your car by a combination of locking/unlocking your doors with the keys in various positions on your ignition.

i have a 98 and it beeps and flashes.. i got 2 new keys about 5 months ago. there's 3 buttons and its on the key

My 93 sc400 beep once for lock and twice for unlock

Should a 93 comes with it? The seller just gave me a key when I bought mine and I'm now planning to get something from viper or others..

My 1992 sc400 DOES BEEP. It is a lame beep though. Wish there was a thread to change the lame alarm beep.

It only beeps once for both LOCK and UNLOCK.

You may want to see if you can find the key on here or ebay... ordering from the dealer will be mucho $$$ if you can still get them. That's what I did with my Tundra and then had an accessory specialist program it for me here in town because I was too lazy to take the dash apart to get to the controller. I've never messed with mine on the SC, but it does beep (95) one lock, two unlock. I have a parts car that still has the controller still in it (I think) if yourw doesn't work.

Did all of them come with the keyless entry from the dealer? When I bought my car used it only came with a regular key and no remote lock/unlock.

my 96 sounds like scottys video, imo it is to quite and i find myself trying hard to hear the sound when im walking away and there is alot of noise.
