Default Replace your transmission mount!

If you have never done the transmission mount on your SC do it, best $50 I've ever spent and takes less than an hour to do.

Used to get a decent vibration when reving the engine, steering wheel would get an intermittent vibration when driving, etc.

The car just feels overall smoother in every way. The only thing it needs now is LCA bushings.

I'll have to give this a shot. Anything that helps smooth out the ride works for me.

The motor doesn't even have to be out at all. Once you jack up the car, all it takes is maybe 10 minutes. I would go with the OEM unit. They're about the same price as the aftermarket stuff anyways.

So weird.... I changed my tranny mount back when I was auto and really the difference was barely noticeable if noticeable at all. I put in a new 5spd tranny mount when I did the swap. No real difference at all. Maybe the original mount was still in good condition? But I doubt it since it's Chicago and the winters here would be very harsh on rubber pieces.

Either way, from my experience, changing the mount with a new OEM mount didn't really do much. Especially when you get your hopes up from reading on here how this mount makes the car feel like new, it was rather a let down.

Already did mine, easy job and was needed. It wasn't "OMG I have a new car" feel but it is not smother. Depending on how bad your old one is, your shifter might sit a little bit higher. It did in my 5 speed but not a big deal. Now for my LCA bushings and Steering rack bushings.

The biggest difference I noticed was at idle. Before I could rev the engine and feel a vibration though the car as the rpms came back down. Now I can rev it all I want and you can't even feel the engine.

My mount was pretty thrashed though, and about 3/8" shorter than the new one. The nuts holding it on seemed surprisingly easy to take off too.

It was oem, I think I payed around 50 on ebay.

Yeah I did mines as well, change wasn't all that dramatic.
