i have a similar problem but my antenna is still there it just wont go up(lol). is there a way to pull the antenna out and just leave it up till i can find a better fix?

Gonna bring another one back from the dead. My antenna won't move either and I have no signal, I want just a short one that won't move cz I'm gonna take the entire mechanism out, it's annoying as hell. Any ideas peeps?

I haven't found any fuse for it either. To make matters worse, my wife ran it through a car wash which spun the very tip of the brand new antenna off - jeeze.
