I want to hook up a External Tach and a Temp Gauge, How would i go about doing this in my 1jz
Where do I get the signal for the Tach

Why do you wanna use the external tach and temp gauge?
Just remove your cluster and jump the resistor and have a working cluster.

 

I have a sc400 cluster and jumping the resistor didnt do anything, grounding the brown and black wire didnt help either. ..

 

I have to tackle the RPM gauge as well. When I first did the swap and didn't feel like removing cluster I bought a cheap Temp gauge at auto zone and stuck the temp probe up the nipple on the water pump no longer used for the twins feed.

What color is that nipple thing on the water neck, is it green that suppose to be attached to a senosr, I couldnt find it actually.
Yea That link only works for sc300 clusters not 400 custers. .
