Default 1JZGTE, NA-T 1/4 and 0-60

Can anybody here help me with some performance specs, not full blown racing engine specs but basic specs of their cars performance after swapping in a 1JZGTE or going NA-T. I'm going NA-T, but low boost and only around 350WHP. I want to know 1/4 miles achieved, 0-60 times and anything that is achievable on a low boost NA-T or even a BPU 1JZGTE. My Nephew just bought a 135I and while I know it's way faster stock, he says I won't be able to beat him with my SC300 even after I turbo it. His car is bone stock, but they are fast. Now I do have an auto, but It's being rebuilt with a modified valve body and a 3200-Stall torque converter. I just want to see some quarter miles and 0-60 times you all have achieved. No racing will be done on the street, it will be at a drag strip!

In the 1991 video 'The Soarer Story,' a stock 5-speed Soarer with the OEM LSD ran a 13.9 0-400m time so that should give a pretty good indication of what a 1JZGTE car can do stock-ish and there's some improvement to be had from there. Run a search over on Soarer Central and you'll see that there's a lot of BPU 1JZ cars in the mid and low 13's consistently -- which would certainly keep pace with the N54/N55 equipped BMW's.

NA-T, I'm not as familiar with and is more dependent on your individual setup, maybe someone else can chime in on that.

Not trying to burst your bubble but 0-60 times are for the 2IS crowd who like to quote magazine numbers. 1/4 mile time can have too many variables. I've never ran my car at the track, maybe one day I will. The mph is the most important number at the track not the actual time. One of my friends with a 335i wanted to run me and because I didn't know my 0-60 he backed out ha ha.

you have to also take driving ability into play, not just power. you can have a faster car, loose in 0-60, but more than likely will have a better trap speed
