Default Opal White to Royal Sapphire Pearl

Sup everyone im still new to CL but i was thinking about this project for a very long time since i was a sophmore in highschool im a senoir now im posting this thread because i finsihed what i wanted. well almost when i heard that there was a "Nicest car of the year" i own a 1997 SC300 so i dreamed of one thing. im gonna go with RSP so its my senoir year and i took 3 years of auto including body and collision this is how it all turned out wish me luck i heard my competor is a Hummer H3.... L?

this is my LEGIT thread since i got all the pics ready and right

1. Pulled the car in


2. Took My Fender off for my new fender/took headlights off


3. finished takign headlights off now ready to sand


4. took my door off had to fix the hinge and it would help put the fender back on alot easier


5. Side View


6. Interior


7. Took the wing off so i dont end up with orange peel under the wing


8. Had to remember the bolt for the wing


9. Some friends from 2nd year and 3rd year auto helping out sanding


10. guy on the left 3rd year didnt do **** guy on right 2nd year helping me tape


11. Rear Panel that still gotta sand the clear coat off


12. Hood Sanded


13. Finished for Day 1


14. Day 2 i had a stripped bolt head so i had to drill and tap/dye for new threads it was a pain


15. and other stripped bolt head under the fender that i had to drill and tap the biggest pain in the ***


16. one of my Best friends sanding my new fender


17. best friend from childhood sanding my door (hes master of body and collision)


18. Car Raised for the stripped bolts agian..

21. Joe Tapping New Threads while im getting the lower fender bolt off

24. Finally Finished fixing my fender and putting all the bolts in the correct area

I am surprised you replaced the entire fender? The damage looked very very minimal?

The grill is only held in by 1 screw & the antenna cover by 1 nut and those kids didn't even remove it. The car is diamond pearl white not opal white. If it was me I would have got people that didn't cut corners and a little more qualified for a three stage paint job on a LEXUS. Hope everything turns out well for you.

i don't get your logic. you removed the front fender but not the front bumper, then you taped up the high beam hole, but not the low beam hole.

Yah they got paint all over the Power Steering Cooler and Air Condition lines. I hope they didn't get the AC condenser too.

Look at them putting that greasy box on the center console

I don't see the trunk lining or the door panels pulled. When open the car you will see the old white paint.

TuanLegend I'm not trying to be mean or cold hearted and I remember what it was like in High School but business should be kept that and not be personal.
