hi first off i've been talking to a guy from cl about a possible trade of our cars.

I have a 92 sc300 automatic with 205k miles, runs great, but has a number of minor problems such as, i believe my shift solenoids are bad? or atleast something is wrong(not quite sure how they work) i know they only cost around 200$ to buy new ones, also my pass side window regulator is out, along with multiple small dents, one paint chipping in a deep dent on front quarter pannel, and the front bumper is destroyed(chipped,cracked). car has a small oil leak(half a quart a month). car is wired for subs, nice kenwood head unit, k&N filter,lowered(most likely just a saggy suspension) on gold is300 rims, looks prety nice, but just a nice daily, hasnt ever broken down on me.

from what he's told me he has a white 93 sc300 5 spd with custom exhaust, full supra brake replacement, 97 break light conversion, and it's lowered( dont know on what) but he says that his car has a locking problem, like it will lock itself and unlock itself, and he has to unlock his car from the pass side? and even when he does that his car alarm goes off?(any ideas would be helpfull)

i still need to learn alot more about each car but untill we meet up this is all i have to go off.

its prob just a wire or something wrong with the alarm, had issues like that with my old jeep but i got rid of it. im sure its fixable if u took the time

 

yeah, i'm hoping so. i'm hoping i can put my stock wheels on mine and trade it so i can put the gold ones on his. the tires are brand new.

 

so how did he get the supra bbk to fit with the stock rims?

 

dang that's a good point. to the OP: bbk won't work with stock wheels. check that out and make sure...

 

and now he's offering to throw a free snow board in with it, i think theres something amiss, i'll call him out on the brake pads, thank you.

 

I dont understand why is he trading cars when his is manual and got some mods. The only reason is maybe he does not like manual and wanted auto? There has to be a catch.
