Update, My SC (Sand Storm) got new shoes
Here is my 93 SC400 with her new shoes.
18x8 with +40 offset all the way around
235/40/18 front and 245/40/18 rear.
I painted the inserts to make the "Sand Storm" Sandstone Beige exterior color of the car. The the name plate of the rims on the center was covered is Ni-Doc dry carbon fiber vinyl, more of Ni-Doc to come on some other parts.
Then I removed the Lexus emblem from the stock wheels center caps, but using my old soldier iron and melting the plastic weld tabs from the back. The I grid down/off the tabs and the little lips from the back of the emblem. I then sanded them with 400 grit sandpaper, them primed them and then painted them. I attach them with Gel super glue work amazing to hold them on. It was like 25 degree here last night and I got her up to a 110mph on the express today to see if they would fly off. This on!
Just in case anyone wants to now, if you need to go to the auto part store to get some paint that match the Sandstone Beige. AutoZone has the prefect match brand and the Toyota new color for it is called Almond Beige Pearl. I now as i ran out of the paint I had made for me and I used a can of it to finish up. Matches great, I would have to say exact.
It is killing me right now i need to bring the front down just a bit. I like the rear stance. I'm need for some supra front springs anyone have some for sell?

Most of the mod will be A-Pillar mount ultra fullrange drivers and kick-panel mount mid-bass. The biggest will be, but still up in the air the addition of a center channel, center top of dash. Rear surrounds with dual 12" in the rear deck. Yes sir, complete 7.1 surround sound, processed buy a JBL MS-8 surround processor. For anyone how don't know about this unit look it up.
Thank you very much. The ability to color match the inserts is the reason I choose that particular rim. That way if I ever choose to sell them the new owner can just have the inserts repainted.

But thank you for your honest opinion. But as more is done it will all come together as I will be adding the Saint Black with Carbon Fiber Tips Straight/Free Flow mufflers also. Just finished the outside door pillars in the Ni-Doc vinyl
I like them also, but just not as much as the new ones. Thanks for the comment

You know... if it was a little more flush with the fender, and the car was lowered more.. I could see it working..
Props for being different, and matching the color perfectly =), not my taste tho! HAVE FUN!

It will be lower, 1-1.5" in front and about .7-1" in the rear. Also the wheels will come out a little more, picked up some spacers today, black paint is drying on them now.
Different is what I was after and have to be. Don't want it to look like anyones else's SC. Plus I really like it, but it has to be lowered before I true happy.
Thanks for all the comments and honest opinions.
