18's or 19's???????????????????

In march I'll be in the market for a set of rims. I like the look and price of alot of 18's but there's something about how an sc looks lowered on a set of 19's. May I have some positive feedback on this? I'm torn between both sizes.

If you're staying with a stock body, go 18s. If you are running a body kit, get 19s

Completely agree, especially if its not a 97+ on 19's. It just looks super high

get 19:thumbup:

19's regardless of body kit OR not. JMO.

I was thinking of going with the 97+ body panels. I've seen a few SC's pull the 97+ kit and 18's off.

Don't forget about the price difference in tires as well, 19's are a bit more expensive.

17s are the way to go.

Offset and width should be your main concern, and i just got rid of a set of 19's because the tires were burnt fast and cost around 30$ more a piece then 18's. 19's are great and look perfect but 18's are a nicer ride and a cheaper tire. plus sick wheels are just sice no matter if there 19 or 18.

19" all the way.. I regretted getting my 18"s

I switched from 19's to 18's to get better tire options to handle power. But there are 19" R888 tires and MT is supposedly coming out with a 305/35/19 DR that will be more than enough for my power goals. So looks like I'll be jumping back on 19's eventually lol.

i say get both :) but overall depends on what kind of wheel you are getting..a full face 18 will look nice..however if you are going something with a nice size lip then id do a 18f 19r or 19s all around..id prefer a staggered set up since usually with a bigger lip and with how our fender wells are the rear usually looks noticeably smaller..so id stagger both ways... if i had the money to do so of course :)

Wow very helpful info man! and it makes a lotto sense, but the only thing that would detract me from the 19 is the xtra $ id hav to fork over for a bigger metal and a more expensive set of tires.... for now i say 18s :D

+1 on cheaper tires.. 18's
