i was curious to see if for the 93-98 supra 2jzgte if the ECU and a engine control computer is the same thing i know prob a noob question

 

what is your question? is the supra TT 6speed? or auto? obd1? obd2? the same to the sc300?

was curious if there was any differince between an ECU and an engine control computer bc im geting ready to do an aristo swap and im trackin an ecu down but i found that auto zone has no ecus but they have the engine control computers i was wondering if they were the same thing?

 

Yes, for your purposes, ECU = engine control computer

(although I don't know if autozone is the best source for one)
