Added new Leather EuroTone WheelSkin steering wheel. Steering wheel wasn't too bad, but was polished with use and was starting to lose some of it's finish. While the color is not a 100% match, I think it looks pretty good! Now off to see Captain Marvel!
Not exactly today, but over Easter weekend... I decided to take the SC out for a drive up PCH and back to keep the fluids working, and this ended up happening on the way back in Woodland Hills area...

I believe they were 15mm Ichiba spacers, but not entirely sure of the brand. I am speculating that based on the next pic, the wheels may not have been sitting flush/snugly on the spacer. Notice the marks from the stock studs gouged into the wheel. It may have also been that the nuts worked themselves loose and I never noticed it as well.
I am just glad that the remaining two lugs (there was another one on there, but I removed it via finger strength before taking the photo) held the wheel on while I limped off the freeway. From another thread on CL, it seems that this possible spacer had the same issue. However, like I mentioned above, I am just wondering if 15mm just isn't deep enough to clear the stock stud from contacting the rear of the wheel. Of course, I am sure the depth varies per wheel brand. As a plus from this experience, I also realized that the wheel will not clear the LS400 calipers without at least 5-10mm. I ordered a set of Ichiba 20mm spacers to make sure I clear the stock studs. Will have to periodically check the torque of the lugs from now on. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...2-spacers.html

I'm glad you're safe. You'll need a 25mm spacer to clear the factory studs completely. More than likely your wheel pockets arent deep enough since those marks happened on the back of the face. You can contact ichiba and get replacement studs for your spacers. I believe it's a few bucks each.
I think it would be pointless to swap out the broken studs as the problem with the thickness of the spacer still causing issues to wheels that do not have deep enough pockets. During my research into other spacers, i am wondering if this may be the reason why H&R didn't offer a bolt-on version for 15mm, and instead only list a version using extended wheel studs.

It's definitely a wheel depth issue and not the spacer design. The reason I mentioned being able to replace the studs is to salvage the spacers for future use if you ever were to need it.

I'll have to inquire with them about the studs. Though, i am wondering if it may just be better to use ARP replacements on them all? If i did that, going with version 1 would probably be safer...
