Finally got a little time to install the lexan back glass 1/4” in thickness with some help of my lovely fiancé who I’m thankful for!!!!!!!
this was last night at 2 am, today I took the red car for alignment, they couldn’t do it, because I apparently need front lcas and tie rod ends
so I came home and cleaned up the mess I left last night and thought I’d update this

Happy to hear you are safe! That is a serious bummer though.

Thats sucks man sorry to see this I hope you can get this wheel fixed that’s not a cheap wheel, but it could have been worse than a wheel, you’re safety first!!!

After spinning out a few weeks back and damaging few components like tie rod ends, wheels, radiator, and support I learned to respect the power and handling of our scs in a dry and especially in wet conditions and drive speed limit or under
this way it’s safer for others as well and you give them a chance to check out your jdm beauty not preaching bro!!

I put in a remanufactured steering rack, figs engineering solid bushings, new tie rod ends, new high pressure ps line, aligned the car and went for a test drive. After I finished cleaning the garage and putting all my tools away, I drove the car into the garage and blew a seal on the new rack.

I got new front control arm bushings, steering rack, sway bar links, and custom painted fog lights installed. We also welded the crack in my header and now my exhaust sounds decent. It's sounded like a crunchy old lawn mower before.

Finished the install of a S-AFC and Glowshift Wideband.

Used an AutoExtrude gauge pod, which is top notch!

I'm not sure. The manufacture said they would have to inspect the rack to know why it failed. They said it's possible the seal was pinched and it blew out. They told me to take the rack back to my supplier for warranty. The problem is, I bought the rack 4 months ago on amazon from a 3rd party seller, so getting support from them is almost impossible now.

I found a local shop to rebuild my OEM rack. It's more expensive than I paid for this rack, but they said they could have the rack back to me in a day.

That's crazy it blew like that. I have a rebuilt rack from Advance Auto Parts. I've had it for years but I just had it put in a few days ago. I'm hoping it holds up alright.
