its a special puddy like substance used for repairing leather cracks in furniture. Works pretty well, ive considered using it on mine but im not sure how well it would work on perforated seats. You apply it to the crack as smooth as you can, wait for it to dry and lightly 'sand' it with a scotch pad. then use leather dye/paint and you get the final result.

refinish. used a filler. after lots of research on leather fillers (and their high cost) i found numerous threads online about using a certain type of DAP for the filler. Soooo i decided why not- i picked up these extra seats. prepped the surface, used the filler, prepped again and followed up with SEM toyota ivory. I put SEM down on my current seats last summer and its holding up fantastically.

logix7, that's a very good-looking job. Special thanks for the details on the materials you used.
My passenger seat needs a bit of attention, so I plan on going this route with it.

Does anybody know if SEM has a color for the contrasting brown on the door panels? I'm hoping to start a stereo install this summer,
and matching the colors on any fabricated parts would be a necessity.

Yesterday, I replaced my lower radiator hose, then removed the stock airbox and tubing(including the MAF) and replaced it with an aluminum pipe and cone filter.

they do in fact make the brown. its in the classic coat line as well but i forgot the name of it. if you go back and look for a thread i posted last week, i actually swapped these cushions from a passenger seat so these were unripped from the start.

i used less than one can. should be enough left to do my console arm rest as well. the last time i did 2 seats i used about 1.5 cans. they run about 16-17 dollars on amazon. and they were 15 and some change at a local paint supply shop.

Right one done.

Completed. Little work goes a long way thanks to 100mgbluep for the parts everything is coming out perfectly.

This was the headlamp restoration kit I used and the best one. Very easy to use recommend it.
