nice, ill keep an eye out for the vid. Interested in seeing how it works out. Ive been planning on getting the Tanabe Medallion touring exhaust which looks almost exactly like that one but is double the price. I might get that one instead after seeing it

I was really torn between the Manzo for $255 and Tanabe for $499. Eventhough I could afford the Tanabe, I just couldn't convince myself paying the extra amount. It's like I was paying more just to have the name. I'm honestly happy with the Manzo exhaust plus the fact I have my $244 saved for something else.

I am looking to restore an SC300 in Phoenix. Anyone recommend a shop that will paint and do some basic interior work?

Thanks

installed the front rear subframe supplemental bushings from Figs. Part number SPF2553K and about $30 bucks. I've had the supra rear subframe mounts for a while and finally got around to installing these. initial impressions are very good and well worth the $$ and time to install, which took a little over an hour. the car felt more comfortable and planted at low and freeway speeds.

I wiped the car down and cleaned the wheels and dressed the tires yesterday. Of course it's raining today...

Took the red 98 to get aligned last week, the guys at the shop told me I need a
driver side controll arm and a right tie rod, so today I went to the yard saw a 400 sitting with mighty minty tight ball joints on control arms and I couldn’t help myself to them. To my surprise everything went very smooth because someone before me took the calipers off and unbolted both upper and lower baljoints, but probly couldn’t pull them off. My luck!!
Saved all the bolts because these *****es are a high dollar items at Toyota, lost 2 washers and was beating on only one nut wich was damaged that’s normal yeah that’s sounds funny. Anyway I need to replace some bushing with my prothane kit, I got ummm 8 or so years ago in the box still , but after I install the new bushings I’ll make sure to clean these up paint them to what color I don’t know yet

Thatís not all I did today, after having a good strong cup of coffee and combo of other things, I had time to
burn the control arm bushes and replace them with prothane!
the hardest part was being patient with tourch other than that it was a great productive day for me!!
Enough, here are some pics of what happened

The tanabe's are a bit thicker and have additional reinforcements welded on compared to the Manzo mufflers, but they basically look the same once mounted.

Are those inserts for the front mounts on the rear subframe?

Nice work, You cleaned those bushings cups way better than needed. Is the rear end on your red SC all fixed and back to normal?

oh, sorry i read your question wrong. yes, it is for the front mounts on the rear subframe.

for the rears, I wound up getting the new supra mounts altogether.

Great day!!! Thank you God!!!
What a productive day today!
Replaced few things on my ride: unbolted front lower control arms and replaced with the ones I installed prothanes on umm couple of days ago. After I replaced both sides installed tires kids got home took a brake ate, then later decided to tackle my power steering rack, remove it and replace it with the fresher unit because my boots were leaking had to go and my tie rods had to go as well, so a couple of hours later did that and while I was swapping them, i also replaced the ps rack bushings with the solid ones!!
Everything went smooth, I had to cut rear lca bolts and replace them, because they were seased up, front bolts I pushed out with my hands, the other thing I stripped my steering linkage upper bolt I need to replace it with new one!
other than that Iím very thankful that I was safe and sound took my time did everything right then double checked my work made sure all the bolts are tight to right ft/lb and hoses and banjo bolts and all the copper washers are in place!
thats all I did
