Help! Ignition

My key wont go all the way inn, it stopped half way and doesn't turn. does anyone have this problem before?... ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!! oh btw, mines is 400 automatic.

never had this problem ...but could be so many things...could be starter..could be defective ignition switch... need more details..does the gages light up and everything?

everything work fine when i took it to work. it was no problem att all. until i got back the car and try to start it, i noticed my key goes half way, not all the way inn and ignition wont turn at all. even though i moved the steering wheel.

How funny, I just replaced my starter today too! LOL! But yeah, If you hear a slight "click" then it's definitely the starter...Otherwise, if it was a bad ignition switch or ignition coil, you wouldn't even be getting that "clicking" noise.
