1995 SC400 Question Urgent for Friday
#31
if you can find out where it was bought initially you can have them fax you the maintenance records and see lots of things the online stuff doesnt show. at least in my case it was. i had about 10 pages of maintenance. which i guess is a good thing.

Got the CAR!
$5,000 Great Deal
49,415 miles
1995 Lexus SC400
LOVE IT!
It only came with one key but I found the skeleton key hanging under the bumper.
1. Bought organic/ceramic lifetime brakes from Autozone $40 for the front
2. Bought Organic lifetime brakes from Autozone 23.99 for the back
3. 2 lifter struts lifetime warranty from Advance Auto 22.99
4. Castrol GTX Oil
5. New Tint job this weekend
6. Wet Sanding/buffing scheduled Sunday.
Any other suggestions on the brakes?

I just wanted to tell everyone who helped me the last 2 days. Thank you!
Update:
1. Bought 4 new tires (rides like a dream now)
2. Brakes didn't need replacing. I just bleed the brake lines.
3. Replaced Trunk Lifters (15 mins ) Parking lot of car wash bay. Just clipped off and popped on the new ones.
4. Oil change (I can't believe Lexus makes you remove the stone shield just to replace the filter, I noticed that the lexus dealer cut the stone shield in half so you just have to flip half and remove less bolts to get to the filter)
Still having the Trunk Button Issue. when I pull the button nothing happens. (New Lifters installed) Is their a fuse for the button? UPDATE: SOLVED
Thanks
again everyone. I am very satisfied with all the help I received.
