Default need picture of 245/35 tire on 10" wide rim

does anyone have a pic of a 245/35 tire on a 20x10 inch rim? or any 10" wide rim. i just want to see how much the tire is stretched. im trying to find the right size tires so i cant eventually have my car lowered. theres a set of 245/35s at a local tire shop i can get but i want to see how it looks before i waste the money. i want a stretched fit but i dont want the rims exposed too much.

Don't mount it if this is your daily driver. I've had 6 245/35/20 tires dismount on my 20x10 rim.

I would imagine it being a huge stretch. I've got 255's on my 8.5 inch wheels.

I have 245/35/19 on 10" wide, it's a pretty moderate stretch and it's daily driven for the last 7 months.

I'm running 255/35/20 on a 20x10 for 8 months. It's still a moderate stretch but is more daily friendly.

depends on the brand of tire but 245/35 is not that much of a stretch on mine. ive been driving on them like this for 4 years. i have 235/35 on a 10" too on the front

hard to tell but its a 235/35 in front and 245/35 in the rear on 10" wide on 19" wheels

heres a better pic of the rear... if you need more i can go out and take some.

im rolling on some cheap general exclaim uhp tires btw

255 on 8.5 is definitely way too big. Ideal size for an 8.5 wheel is 225 tires.

as for your 10" wheel, i'm currently running a 255 on a 10" wheel and the stretch is barely notticable. How the stretch will look also depends on the brand of tire. For example, a Federal 595 [225] tire will have a meatier sidewall than a Bridgestone Potenza [225].

And online pictures really do no justice compared to seeing a tire in person.

But if u really want to see pics online, i suggest: http://www.tyrestretch.com/index.php

That depends on what you consider ideal. 225 is gonna be stretched on an 8.5. 255 is square.

no bro. 225 on an 8.5. gives you a perfect square sidewall with the sidewall face flush to the edge of the wheel.

255 tires extented further out on an 8.5 wheel. thats not square. thats too big, and the sidewall will not be firm enough when cornering and cause extra roll.

Look at stock 2IS staggered wheels as an example. The front tires are slightly stretched and those are 225's on only an 8" wheel (and don't get silly I'm not talking about "hellaflush" stretched here, but they are definitely stretched) The rears are 255 on an 8.5" wheels and are square (as in very close to a 90 degree angle). As for bloated sidewalls hindering handling, tell that to Formula 1.
